That MTV is now VH1 Classic. Minus, of course, the hopelessly awful
shit like The Grind and MTV Beach House that everyone refuses to admit
was part of the rotation in the glory days.

They got your email, and your password. So if they're used on
similiar sites, they "could" use that to login elsewhere. Not likely,
since it sounds like a bunch twits with nothing better to do, but
there it is.

That is absoutely NOT TRUE AT ALL! Please don't post about something
regarding TPR unless you actually know what you're talking about!!!

They got a list of "encrypted passwords" but they did NOT, I reapeat
DID NOT get a list of everyone's flat out passwords.

phpbb uses these encrypted passwords for EXACTLY this reason. TPR
would NEVER go with forum software that would be so easy to hack
someone's personal information.

So please, before you go posting about what you THINK is going on with
the site, or this hacking attempt, consult me first. Your information
is NOT ACCURATE!!!!

If the encryption scheme used is known (which it would be for any
off-the-shelf forum software), and one used an easy-to-guess
password (such as a single word that can be found in a dictionary),
then one could use what is known as a dictionary attack to try to
match the encrypted account passwords against encryptions of known
words. This is why it's always a good idea to make sure your
password isn't something one can find in a dictionary.

No, Ted was right. I had forgotten about the password encryption.
Even Robb and the Mods have no way of knowing your passwords through
the phpbb software.

And I didn't spout disinformation, I was ill informed, and slightly
forgetful. It happens.

don't use web based message boards. This is just entertainment
over here. Banter posts that add up to nothing. We're all stupid
over here any way. I'm a drunk, you're an idiot, so what?

Why do people call it TRL? I don't get it.

If we're going to make a new name for TPR, then we need to add an "F"
just like we did for CFB.

Coaster Buzz became Coaster Fucking Buzz, and everyone went along with
he new abbreviation as the board died.

So let's see how it works with TPR.

TPFR.

It even sounds dirty just saying the letters.

One, the average age is 12.7 years old. Jeez.

Two, they're all at school right now anyway looking at porn on the
school library's PCs.

Sam alone probably gives TPR more hits in a day by himself, than his

Very interesting to see how you keep trying NOT to point the finger at
yourself.

Sorry to dissapoint you Sam, but your hackers did very little damage.
We lost no data from the website at all. So other than the time it's
taking to restore the site's backups because of the amazingly huge
amount of high quality content we offer, probably our biggest loss was
the YouTube videos, which will in the long run be a positive thing
because it means I get to replace those very old, low-res 2007 made
videos with much higher quality and HD versions!

I'm actually VERY excited about re-launching a YouTube channel with
nothing but VERY high quality, beautiful looking videos!

Sam can always have the last word, but I just don't care.

I do think it's very sad that RRC has the most traffic whenever there
is a TRL bitch thread.

And this is exactly why so many people are turning to sites like TRL
to get actual information! (when it's not being hacked of course.)

There is so little information and so little value on RRC anymore.
It's actually really, really sad.

This newsgroup used to be where I go to get all my theme park and
roller coaster information and now it's just filled up with psychos
like Sam Narks who is obsessed with us. I mean, hey, I'll take
whatever fanbase I can get!

There is a big difference between the traffic RRC gets from it's
posters and from it's lurkers.

While the active posters on RRC provide very little value to TRL, the
lurkers on the other hand do.

We get quite a few referrals from people who have found our site
through RRC by clicking on the updates we post. We'll get people who
buy videos and tell us "We found your store through RRC.", etc, etc.

That is the gain from posting here.

You know, I'm really beginning to wonder. Sam, you were the first
person to post about the hack on here. You seem to be in denial about
having anything to do with it. The hackers gave a shout out to your
thread on their hacker site. You are a member of a group who have
done background checks on myself and my family. You display every
trait of being a "stalker." Something like this is not beyond the
personality traits you display on RRC.

I'm really thinking there might be enough pieces to the puzzle here to
get the authorities involved.

Like I said, it would not surprise me in the least (nor I'm sure
others as well) if it was found out that Sam Marks had something to do
with this.

LOLZ! I had nothing to do with it, and I got my info about the hack
from "another web site". I NEVER did a background check on you, and
wasn't involved in he discovery of the criminal record. The people
that Hacked you are from evilzone.com, you know that, and you know I
didn't do anything to your site. So if you want to bark up the wrong
forest go ahead! The only thing i'm guilty of is disliking your
pathetic family abandoning sorry ass! so yea! just like in the past,
you threaten legal action. It's not my fault you put up a site that
didn't have adequate security

Oh, is your site up yet?

So, people posting your known and verified criminal record are bad,
but accusing Sam of a very serious offense with extremely limited

We are doing a server restore from scratch. It's taking a long time
because we have so much content to restore on TPR. I think it will be
back up sometime later this afternoon/early evening.

If you want to get in a little TPR fun while you wait, check out some

Heh, not angry. And you weren't enjoying a break from it. I mean,
what would you be doing on RRC if you weren't posting or stalking
TPR? It's not like you actually post anything else of value here. In
fact, I would argue to say that all my "advertizing" is far more on
topic and worthwhile that 99.9% of your retarded posts.

It's OK, Robb, I know you're angry. And I understand, you have a lot
of work to do. Hope that's going well! :-)

But I think most RRC regulars know I've contributed here since 1996,
and that includes TR's, PTR's and commentary on all sorts of things. I
can't point to any period in my "career" where I've hated on the
group, or had to leave for 2 or 3 years because pretty much everyone
hated me here. And I can proudly say I don't post here just to recruit
people to my business venture (and crap on the regulars), as you
admitted to up above. About the only thing I ever advertise is my
photo site, which is full of content and costs nothing to enjoy.

^ Keep telling yourself that Mike, yadda, yadda, yadda....

Seriously though, you may have contributed a lot to this group in
1996, but now? It's almost all crap.

And let's face it, so is the stuff I write, Sam writes, and 99% of
most everything on this newsgroup is total crap.

I'm not blaming you, just pointing out a reality.

This newsgroup is old and busted. There is very little "news" to be
found here. Just mostly crap.
