I heard rumors long ago about this. They're really true! But what is
it with KK and their coaster names? T2.... Chang?
Todd
and the other great news is that they'll fianlly have another bridge across
the access road for the fair and expo grounds, and a link around the other
side of the waterpark!!!!! I've talked to a few people out there, and the also
say there's going to be a few regular rides, namely a semi-permanent gravitron
type ride and possibly wave-swinger type ride on the path between T2 and the
Eleminator track and near the Big wheel. The picnic area which is now
temporarily set up in the parkin lot would be moved behind the T2... but, it's
all rumors from workers, so, who knows...

have you seen the crowds at Kentucky Kingdom lately?
they've been pulling large numbers of people from Indianapolis and Cincinatti
and the Nashville markets, and are usually packed most every day of the
week....
I don't think they really have trouble with money like they did when they
first started... and when was the last vekoma ride installed? they've added
several attractions since T2, and none have been vekoma....

The park is getting crowded, but do you realize how many of
those out-of-state visitors are getting FREE ADMISSION? If you
live out-of-state all you had to do was call the KY Tourism board
and ask for the louisville attractions brochure, each one came
with 10 free tickets to KK! (If I knew more than 2 days before
they expired I would have passed this tip on)
In addition where my mom works in Cincinnati, they passed out
a flyer for KK which had not only a coupon for 4 free tickets, but
the coupon said "Duplicate as many as you need" Virtual season
pass for me. (Don't ask, expired 7/31)
Either KK is getting a kickback on this free ticket offer and/or
this is one of the greatest promotions I know to date to draw a
crowd to your park. With the news of the stand-up, I'll be there
in 97 with my $25 in hand.
The only thing that is better than driving my Saturn is riding a
rollercoaster.
> Chang?? Isn't that the sound a lift chain makes when it breaks?
If a lift chain breaks in the middle of the woods and nobody's around
to hear it, ... Oh, never mind. :)
