This is some what outdated - But Read Message # 4360 :
"Most Often Recommended External Speakers for the Icom IC-R75"

FWIW - The Icom IC-R75 Receiver only has a Mono-Phonic
{Single Channel } Audio Output that is rated at Two (2) Watts.
So a pair of Powered Computer {Stereo} Speakers will only
provide you with Mono Sound.
NOTE - The Two (2) Watts of Audio Output of the Icom IC-R75
Receiver is enough to power a single 4" to 6" Speaker and
fill the room with a reasonable level of good quality audio
sound.
TIP - Using one speaker from a pair of Book Shelf Speakers or
the non-powered Speaker from a pair of old Computer Speakers
will work with the Icom IC-R75 Receiver.

I'm Looking for a good Extension Speaker for my Icom R75,
Does any one know if Icom makes one for this receiver,
I have been looking but can't find anything.
I suppose I can go to Radio Shack here in Canada ad buy
a shelf speaker that has treble and base controls on the
speaker like one of those shelf speakers ??
Any information on this subject appreciated,
Steve
