Anyone here use the Ten-Tec RX-400 HF/VHF/UHF DSP Receiver?

Judging from the specs it looks like a marvellous machine. Would like to
hear from users. Also, I couldn't find examples of software used with
this rig, which seems strange to me.

It's brand new apparently. I'll wait 'til Bob Sherwood gets hits mitts
on one.

Upon further examination, I have further info.

First, apologies to Rob (not Bob) Sherwood.

Second, this receiver cannot be sold in the USA has it doesn't have
cellular blocking. It's a spook radio. Very pricey I suspect. A nice
RX-320 would be more fun I'll bet.

Isn't AMPS Cellular down everywhere in the USA now? Why would this
still be a prohibition?

Dunno. There are lots of nice receivers we can't buy here.

Anyone outside the US know anything about the RX-400? Funny that a rig
manufactured inside the US can't be sold there...

I'd probably also settle for the RX-340, if I even have the money

The last time I was actually in the states (2003) they still had unscrambled
analog cell service. It was still widely used (especially by TracFone), and
cost a mint to use. Looks like it was finally discontinued in 2008,
according to Wiki.
