y'all was talking about those radios a few weeks ago.Yesterday,on the
way back home from the food store I stopped off at a Walgreens store and
I bought one of those Sony AM/FM ICF-S10MK2 shirt pocket radios.I don't
see what the big deal is about those radios,it doesn't pick up any
better than some of my other little shirt pocket radios. And the AM
stations are really crowded up next to each other too. When I was in the
Army (October 28,1962-October 29,1965) they used to call me Radio Ryan
because a lot of times I had a transistor in my shirt pocket.Bell
Laboratories did not invent the Transistor either.Walgreens has some
little shirtpocket Shortwave AM/FM Radios too. www.ryans.org

Interesting. I remember that about a month ago, someone was hyping those
radios on here. Suddenly, a guy on E-Bay started selling them for $20
(about $10 too much) as "Sony Long range AM/FM pocket radio" or similar
with the model number removed (to make price comparisons difficult).

Hey relax.

Didn't you say you have a roadrunner cable modem as well? You can hook up
your webtv box through this (webtv 2), get a vonage VOIP telephone adapter,
and disconnect bell south.
