jrc nrd-525- backup- battery??

before I get myself this hot receiver, I惴 worried about this lithium
back-up-battery in the nrd-525:

-how long does this back-up-battery last?

-what惻l happen if it expires?

-is this kind of battery still available? and easy to mount?

According to the manual, the battery life is about 5 years though they do last longer than that. If it does go bad,you'll lose the
contents of the memory channels.There's a yahoo group for the 535,525 radios, join in and ask some questions.

battery lasts abt 5-10 yrs. you dont lose any memories etc when it expires.
battery is a button cell type, and easily available.it is mounted by
soldering onto circuit board .full instructions are in the user
