A question for the group:
1.
Should WWRB get on the tax free 501C3 non profit gravy train many
other shortwave stations are on?
2.
How do you feel about non profit tax free shortwave stations SELLING
airtime to clearly commercial 'in it for the money' political change
broadcasters and radio networks that have nothing to do with the
church other than RENTING time on tax payer(you) subsidized
facilities?? ?
Remember they pay no taxes on anything no property taxes, sales taxes,
no regulatory fees, pastors don't have to pay any social security
taxes nothing
zip but expect the local fire department to put out any fires and
demand police protection, paved streets yet not pay for it??

You may not like WWRB or our programming but at least we are not
asking YOU to subsidize it with your hard earned tax dollars!! just
like YOU WWRB pays out ying yang in taxes !!
We are not making a fools out of you; while pastor & church
leaders fly in a tax free jets and his tax free dogs are kept in
air condidioning!
with cash rolling in from selling airtime to commercial broadcasters
on tax payer subsidized facilities!

I don't know whatever gave you the idea that churches and/or preachers
don't pay taxes. You'd better go visit your local churches with ordained
pastors and quit listening to your own Nazi BS'ers who tell people NOT
to pay taxes because they've twisted some amendment to claim they don't
have to.
Not-for-profit means just that: they are not a corporation out to make a
profit. But yes you CAN make money as long as it goes RIGHT BACK into
the ministry.
You are not a church, you are not a ministry and you are just pissed cuz

are churches who own & operate their own SW ministries that in substance
are 'subsidised' by the taxpayers. Obviously, if they start selling air
time to others, being a tax-exempt church won't get them out of paying
taxes for the new sideline. However, religious stations such as EWTN &
the University Network don't sell air time: there are no air time sales
generating revenues from which to derive income; & since their expenses
are for the purpose of the free exercise of 'religion' there are no
taxes collected on the related expenses/activities.
