"Why Do Some People Hate HD Radio?"

"One of the visitors to this site emailed me this question just a few
days ago. I thought about this at length, but finally concluded is
that there is no simple answer... The HD Radio nay-sayers write that
HD Radio is a fluke will ultimately go the way of FM Stereo
broadcasting... If HD Radio is such a farce, why are there are about
60 HD Radio receivers are on the market from Sony, Harman
International Industries, D&M Holdings and others... While, I would
not presume to psychoanalyze those who believe HD radio is a farce."

I love this - hilarious! All this will do is cause more people to
search on "hd radio farce", which according to my stats, they are
already doing! Doug Hanna is on the defensive - right, Eduardo! It
will just show consumers how unprofessional this site is! This goes
to show that my site is helping to derail The Big HD Radio Rollout!
LMFAO!

FM Stereo broadcasting is alive and well. All but about a few dozen US FMs
are in FM stereo.

Eduardo - you know this site very well. This is the same site that
either you, or Doug Hanna, posted that bogus RHF message out of
rec.radio.shortwave that made it look like HD Radio had a mandated
switchover date, as with digital TV (that is exaclty what the HD
Alliance/NAB/Struble/IBiquity is hoping for, mass consumer confusion).
Now you remember, Eduardo, that libelous entry that you put in
Wikipedia concerning WYSL, and that Savage threatened to take legal
action, if it wasn't removed.

The multiple streams of programming anabled thru HD radio is here to stay.

The great benefit of the multiple streams far outweight the ability of

Today FM HD-Radio's Second Audio Channels "HD-2"
may be 'free' -but- In a Year of two the HD-2 Channels
will have Sponsors and Advertisements; and be a new
Profit Center and Stream of Income for the main FM
Radio Radio Stations.

So...it doesn't have to.

It works like a stations web site. Some additional place for "value
added"...and additional listening.

The web sites are not going anywhere either.
