I think the seller is lying, unless these two companies have stolen SD
and used it for their own purposes. SD has not been a feature up to
now on inexpensive radios.

All synchronous detection uses a sampling vector rate so the seller seems to
be hyping his product unnecessarily. An analogy would be going to Taco Bell
and ordering a "flour tortilla wrapped, savory and spicy burrito" instead of
just a "burrito." The zit-faced kid behind the counter would just stare at
you.
"Vector signal" is a term more aptly used in specifications used in test
equipment and appending it to this Tecsun receiver should probably indicate
a level of padding in the seller's description.
Go to Radiointel.com and read the review and you'll probably come away
feeling like I did that this receiver is suited
nicely to casual listening while at the beach but I wouldn't get too excited
about its inflated claims.
