Need Info On Grundig Majestic

I got a Grundig Majestic, Model #2140U today. Does anyone know what the
button marked PU is for. There is also an RCA jack marked PU on the back of
the set.

That's where the turntable plugs in.

PU mutes the tuner, and connects the turntable cartridge to the
audio stage. The RCA jack is a conversion, the PU jack on the
Majestic is a DIN jack...but it's where the turtable audio connects.
