Has anyone figured out the frequencies for the different Peoria police
channels. I have channel one and I think channel five, but I know
channels 3 and 7 exist. I've tried all the freqs listed in Police
Call and various sites on the net (none of which list channel five or
seven, and the freq for ch. 3 seems to be incorrect. Any help would
be appreciated. Please email a response.

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Check out the brand new Southwest Frequency Directory, 5th Edition
Arizona. Just came out last week! It's about $25, available at Ham Radio
Outlet, Bronco One Communications, Apollo Communications, Spy
Headquarters, and a few other stores in and around Phoenix. Also available
in Tucson stores. 300+ pages for Arizona only, written and edited locally!

I'm probably in the same boat as you. If you've found your answer, would
you mind passing it along this way? Here's what I have:

453.650 channel 1
460.350 channel 5??

An FCC search turned up these records:

Peoria police frequencies:
453.6500 PP
460.3500 PP
460.3750 PP
460.6000 PF

They are also licensed for a trunked system, which may have what you are
looking for:

855.7125 GP
855.4625 GP
855.2125 GP

They also have this frequency licensed to them as a Power/Utilities
frequency:
173.2100 IW

I've never monitored Peoria so I don't know what freq's they use for what.

Channels 2 & 4 are the same as Channels 1 & 3 but they are the direct

Peoria uses the Project 25 Phase I trunked system, some frequencies may be analog and some may be digital.
If you do not have a digital scanner, you would only pick up analog traffic. If you go to radiofrequency.com you can find what you need.

Check here http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=2508

Apparently they are now on a Regional shared system. Scroll down the
page to get Peoria's talkgroups. There are a lot of them !

If the talkgroup ID is "414" how would i use a scanner to pick that up? I have a scanner that can pick up the p25 digital system that Peoria now uses but have no idea what their freq is or how to use that talkgroup
