** Dayton Hamvention 2023: May 19-21

Radio Amateurs of Canada is very pleased to once again be able to operate
a booth at the Dayton Hamvention, the world’s largest Amateur R
adio gathering, from May 20 to May 21.

The RAC booth 2504 is located in Building 2 just next to the Young Ladies
Radio League and close to the International Amateur Radio Union, the Am
erican Radio Relay League and other national organizations. We look forwar
d to meeting you!

** Canada-Wide Science Fair 2023 and Youth STEM Expo

Students visit the RAC booth at the Canada-Wide Science Fair. TheCanada-Wi

about-cwsf/) is being held in Edmonton, Alberta and Radio Amateurs of C
anada is pleased to have a booth at the event at the Youth STEM Expo from
May 17 to May 19.

Volunteers from the
Quarter City Amateur Radio Club (http://www.qcarc.net/) and the Northern
Alberta Amateur Radio Club (https://www.narc.net/) are introducing stude
nts, teachers, parents and other participants to the “Wonderfu
l World of Amateur Radio”.

“We are enjoying interacting with many youths. We have had a lot o
f students trying their hand at sending Morse code and we sent some texts
to them using Winlink and talked up our hobby to a lot of people.

Our demo frequency is 7.100 MHz and we call CQ at the top and bottom of ea
ch hour from 0930 to 1430 MDT May 17,18 and 19 from the Edmonton Convent
ion Centre.”
