I guess so... as I hear it reported from Newsline

An Indiana radio hobbyist who allegedly sent a pipe bomb that killed a teenage
Vermont CB operator and injured the boys mother is behind bars. Chris Dean, of
Pierceton was arrested one day after a bomb killed seventeen year old Chris
Marquis of Fair Haven, Vermont after an Internet deal went sour.

Thirty five year old Chris William Dean is being held in a Ft. Wayne, Indiana
jail on charges that he mailed a pipe bomb that killed a Vermont teenager.
According to authorities, Dean and seventeen year old Chris Marquis of Fair
Haven Vermont had a dispute over an Internet arranged trade of Citizens Band
radio parts.

A friend of Dean's told authorities that Dean felt that he had been ripped off
and wanted revenge.

Dean's mother said that he has an active interest in ham radio and citizens
band equipment but she was not sure if Chris actually held an Amateur Radio
license.

Investigators who searched Deans' house discovered several items that could
have been used to build a pipe bomb.

Marques (was killed) when he tried to open the package. The blast also
injured his fifty three year old mother. Four of her fingertips were amputated.

Federal authorities have charged Dean with placing an explosive device aboard
an aircraft because it was shipped via United Parcel Service. Authorities sad
that the Internet played a large part in the crime, noting that Dean and
Marques communicated over the global network and that Dean had also allegedly
down instructions from the Internet on how to build a pipe bomb.

A federal Magistrate in Ft. Wayne says that there is enough evidence to send
the Pierceton, Indiana man to Vermont to stand trial. Dean could face the
death penalty if convicted in the Vermont court.
