I am sad to report the death of New York radio personality Jack Spector.

Jack was one of the original Good Guys on WMCA. When the station changed
to a talk format, he hosted a sportstalk show.

He later worked for WHN, WNBC, WCBS-FM and WHLI where he was employed
at the time of his death.

At the end of his shows he would say "Look out street here I come."

Jack Spector died while on the air at WHLI. He collapsed and died of an
apparent heart attack after playing "I'm in the Mood for Love" at 11:45 AM on
Tuesday 3/8. Paramedics took him to the Winthrop University Hospital in
Mineola, Long Island where he died at 12:35: Death of Jack Spector
