Audacy Hip Hop 106.5 The Beat WBTJ Richmond has announced the addition of
Candice Smith as midday host.

Smith has been a traffic and entertainment reporter for NBC 12 WWBT-TV
Richmond since 2014 and hosts About Town for that station. She will
continue in those roles in addition to middays at WBTJ.

Audacy announced the addition of Candice Smith as midday host for 106.5 The
Beat (WBTJ-FM) in Richmond, effective immediately. Smith will be heard
weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET.

“I’m delighted to welcome Candice and her wonderful talent to 106.5 The
Beat,” said Bennett Zier, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy
Richmond. “Her personality, talent and ties to RVA make her the perfect
addition to The Beat’s already powerful programming lineup.”

“Im looking forward to joining Audacy,” said Smith. “I love Richmond and Im
looking forward to growing my career with such a great team.”

Smith, a Virginia native, is one of Richmond’s most prolific talents,
working as NBC12s 12 “About Town” reporter and morning traffic reporter. A
three-time Emmy Award winner, Smith will continue in her role at NBC12.

Cumulus Extends Deal With Bob & Tom; Adds Show In Abilene

Cumulus Media has announced it has signed a long-term extension with the
Bob Tom Show to continue to distribute the show via Westwood One and air
on many of their stations.

As part of the deal, Cumulus has also added Bob Tom to an additional
station, as the program debuted on Classic Rock 102 The Bear KHXS Abilene
TX.

The BOB TOM Show announces that it has renewed its agreement with CUMULUS
MEDIA to air the award-winning nationally syndicated morning show on 18 of
the company’s radio stations across the U.S. The long-term deal also brings
The BOB TOM Show to Abilene, TX, listeners with the addition of Cumulus
station KXHS-FM to The BOB TOM Show family. The renewal extends a
successful broadcast partnership of over 20 years. Each of the following
Cumulus stations has featured the iconic Radio Hall of Fame program as its
morning show for 10-25 years:

Peoria, IL, WGLO-FM, 24 years

iHeartMedia flipped Hot AC Mix 100.5 WDVI Rochester NY to Country 100.5
today.

The new format debuted at 9:00 this morning positioning as Rochesters Ten
In A Row Country and giving the company a full-market signal competitor to
Audacys market leading 92.5 WBEE. iHeart is continuing to operate the
separate Country brand 107.3 The Bull on rimshot WNBL South Bristol
Township. The first five songs heard on Country 100.5 were Chris Young
Kane Browns Famous Friends, Tim McGraw I Like It, I Love It, Luke Bryan
Knockin Boots, Chase Rice ft. Florida Georgia Line Drinkin Beer Talkin God
Amen, and Gabby Barrett ft. Charlie Puth I Hope.

On-air promos indicate that the Bobby Bones Show will move from WNBL to
WDVI, while former WBEE morning co-host Jeremy Newman joins for afternoons.
Newman exited WBEE in early 2020.

WDVIs former Hot AC format went out with a 2.2 share in the September 2021
Nielsen Audio ratings. WBEE currently holds an 8.6 share to lead the
Rochester market, while iHeartMedias 107.3 WNBL had a 0.9 share.
