Anyone know the current whereabouts of former KHTZ (Los
Angeles) NewsDirector Boyd R. Britton. He worked AMD
with Charley Tuna and, each Friday, broadcast his
News Clearance Sale: All the Facts You Need To Live
at 9 AM. (I have a cassette of several of these broadcasts.
15 years later, they're still a scream!)

BRB claimed that KHTZ management kept suspending him for
broadcasting NCS. Finally, one day, he was . . . . gone.

Marty:
No idea where Boyd is now(and yeah, he was really good!),
but I wanna say he and Charlie Tuna were together at KKDJ
(later KIIS) Los Angeles sometime between 1973-1977. And,
I'm sure I've heard him on at least one other L.A. station
during the 70's...might have even been KHJ, but if so,
briefly.Perhaps KROQ-AM, which would have been with Tuna
again(72-73).

Does anyone know if Jim Carson is still pissed at me? I used to do
midnight to 6AM at KIQQ, Los Angeles, K-100. Jim did 7 to Midnight.
My last night there, before I quit, I was late. This was do to me
having to take the XEPRS show tapes I just made to the Greyhound Bus
terminal in Downtown LA. Why? So that they'de be in Rosarito Beach
(Tijuana) at the 1090 Express transmitter site in time for airing.
The 70's were good to me. The 90's are too complicated.

WHEN is he on?

[I usually listen to Imusinamorning 5-9AM on KOGO AM 600, San Diego --
but, yes, my radio _can_ receive Pasadena KROQ-FM.]
