Former WRQN 93.5 night guy, Johnny D. is back in Toledo. Johnny D.
who was doing mornings in Cleveland just two weeks ago has ended up back
in Toledo for WVKS 92.5. KISS-FM. Johnny D. was filling in for the
vacationing morning mouth, Denny Schaffer. On Friday morning, while
Johnny was doing the morning show for 92.5, he called his boss in
Cleveland and quit his job LIVE on the air in Toledo.

Johnny D. will be doing the afternoon show in WVKS, replacing Music
Director, Curt Cruse. Cruse will remain Music Director of WVKS, and
become music director of WLQR (101.5), and be the middday host there too.
Curt will be replacing former WLQR afternoon girl Andie Mckay, who is now
doing middays at WVKS.

This is probably old news but WSPD has added G. Gordon Liddy, and Jim
Rome to their daily schedule.

BTW: In case some of you are confused. Johnny D. quit his job in
Cleveland, while he was on the air in Toledo. I'm just too damn lazy to
change it.

Zapis Communications is pursuing legal action against him.. he was under
contract. Sheesh... Leaving Cleveland to go to Toledo? :> (Just kidding,
Craig...)

It's a good thing the D-Man left. The Big Show, with Johnny D and Lee Anne
Sommers, was little more than a clone of Howard Stern, with two exceptions:
Lee Anne didn't take all the crap from Johnny that Robin Quivers takes from
Howard, and Johnny is nowhere near as intelligent or funny as Stern. I do
like Lee Anne and hope she stays on the morning beat, tho. But if I wanna
listen to Stern, I listen to Stern :>

Oh... I will have more on the morning changes in Cleveland soon. Q94's
Corey Deitz is now on Lite Rock 106 1/2 in Cleveland, and I
want to get him back on RRB as soon as possible... finally, someone who
might actually be willing to help me do the Radiowatcher reports! :) :)

(For those with temporary amnesia... Corey came up here from Richmond,
Virginia.)

I forgot: Jammin' 92's Jack Kelley is currently doing the Big Show with
Lee Anne. Not sure yet whether this is permanent.
