Cutforths 890 KJME Fountain CO is apparently trying to make it a permanent
format.
890 Yesterday replaced NBC Sports Radio in late 2016 with programming
consisting of nothing but Beatles music. KJME is carrying the syndicated
Breakfast with The Beatles hosted by Dennis Mitchell on Sunday mornings.

Cox Media Group Urban AC Hot 105 WHQT Miami is picking up the relaunched
Michael Baisden show for afternoons starting Monday, February 20.
Baisden previously aired on WHQT during his previous syndicated run from
2007 to 2013. To make room for the show, midday host James T will condense
his show to 9am-12pm, while afternoon hosts Rick Party and Benji Brown move
to 12-3pm.
Cox Media Group (CMG) Miami Radio has announced Michael Baisden as its new
afternoon drive host on Hot 105, effective Feb. 20, 2017. The Michael
Baisden show is syndicated with our sister station WALR KISS 104 as the
flagship station.
“Michael was a part of the Hot 105 Super brand from 2007 to 2013 with a
proven track record of success.” said WHQT Director of Branding and
Programming Phil Michaels-Trueba. “I am happy to welcome Michael, George
Willborn, and Tamara G back home to our already stellar lineup of icons,
legends, and superstars on the Hot 105 Super brand that super serve our
community!”
Baisden is undeniably one of the most influential and engaging
personalities in radio history. His meteoric rise to No. 1 redefined radio
with the numbers to back it up. The show was heard in over 100 cities
nationwide with over 7 million loyal listeners daily.

talk show titled Baisden After Dark.”
Baisden has carved a unique niche as a speaker, radio personality,

Alpha Media Acquires West Palm Beach AMs

Alpha Media is converting its LMA of two West Palm Beach market AMs into an
outright purchase.
Alpha will acquires Sports 640 WMEN Royal Palm Beach and News/Talk 850 WFTL
West Palm Beach from Mark Jorgensens ACM JCE IV B LLC for $2 million.
Jorgensen purchased the stations out of former owner James Crystal
Enterprises bankruptcy restructuring in 2013 and has LMAd the cluster to
Alpha and previous cluster owner Palm Beach Broadcasting since August 2015.
WFTL and WMEN join an Alpha Media cluster that includes Hot AC 97.9 WRMF,
Urban AC X102.3 WMBX, Country 103.1 WIRK, AC Sunny 107.9 WEAT and Urban
Beatz 96.3 W242CI/WMBX-HD2.

Cumulus Recovers WWWX From Divestiture Trust

Cumulus Media is taking Alternative 96.9 The Fox WWWX Oshkosh/Appleton WI
out of the Current Radio trust.
Cumulus placed WWWX in a trust in 2009 following its deal to divest its
Appleton/Green Bay stations to Clear Channel and LMA them back. Cumulus
would reacquire the stations in 2013. It is now seeking to reassume control
of WWWX thanks to the 2013 relicensing of sister 103.1 WOGB from Kaukauna
to Reedsville which moved it from the Appleton market to the Green Bay
market. WWWX will become Cumulus fourth FM in the Appleton market keeping
it under the ownership limits.
WWWX was the final station still held in trust from Cumulus deals in 2009
and 2011.
