John Doremus, longtime Chicago radio & tv air talent, died this morning in
a suburban nursing home where he had spent the last several years with
Alzheimer's disease.

Oh, I am sad to hear of the passing of John Doremus. I recall hearing him
while vacationing in Central Michigan in the 60's and 70's, when he was
heard on (then) 102.5-WGER. which blanketed the middle of Michigan. John's
very professional and personable airstyle gave a large quantity of quality
and credibility to this station (and others he was heard on). I really
enjoyed his music sets and commentaries. Another fine broadcaster is gone
from us............
