Oh yes, if you take a look in the repeater section of Echolink, you'll
find N5QXX all right, but you won't be able to link to it. Instead,
you'll get an "access denied" message, because only a small number of
people are allowed to use it.
So why is it on Echolink at all? Your guess is as good as mine,
although I tend to lean toward the explanation that the club wants
bragging rights without having to actually perform as do other linked
repeaters.
What a bunch of morons. They should be cut off from Echolink.
