An Empress And The Warriors 2008 DVDRip XviD BiEN is set in ancient China, during the time of the Ten Kingdoms. The kingdom of Yan is constantly at war with its neighbors and suffers from internal strife. The emperor of Yan dies from a battle wound and a general's betrayal, leaving his daughter Feier as his successor. Feier is the first female ruler of Yan and has to prove herself as a leader and a warrior. She is aided by her loyal protector Xuehu, who trains her in martial arts and strategy. However, she also faces opposition from Hu Ba, an ambitious general who plots to overthrow her with the help of a rival kingdom.
Feier survives an assassination attempt by Hu Ba's men, but is wounded and falls off a cliff. She is rescued by Duan Lanquan, a mysterious hermit who lives in the forest. Duan Lanquan heals her wound and shows her a different way of life, away from war and violence. He also reveals his past as a former prince of another kingdom who gave up his throne for love. Feier falls in love with Duan Lanquan and considers staying with him in the forest. However, she soon learns that Hu Ba has usurped her throne and is preparing to attack Yan with a large army.
