I have an AL-82 amp serial number AL-82-1176 Feb 1991 that has the 10 meter
mod and the current 15/15 meter position on the band switch. How do I know
it will work on 12? works everyewhere else.

Try tuning it up into a dummy load on 24.930 MHz using the 15 meter position.

That is what I plan to do although Rob at Ameritron says if the WARC mod was
done and the correct Rf choke is installed then there should be no problem.
