<div>My definition of standing apart in this context is to reject a spirit of pride and haughtiness and not convey to my kids that we have all the answers and those that are not living, doing or acting as we do are in the wrong. I teach my kids that there are moral standards that we should follow and I am purposing to take them to the Scriptures when we have questions about right and wrong: however, I want them to see others who are different from them through eyes of love rather than judgement. Can we see the victims of abuse through the eyes of Jesus? Can we see the homeless through the eyes of Jesus? Can we see the addict through the eyes of Jesus? Can we see the friend who is bitter and out of church through the eyes of Jesus? Jesus sought out sinners to dine with them.</div><div></div><div></div><div>1 Corinthians 16 encourages us to stand firm in the faith with courage, strength and love. Standing firm in the faith may look differently depending on the situation; however, in general, standing firm in the faith has to do with holding onto our beliefs unwaveringly when the world around us is trying to make us question our faith or distract us from Jesus.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>stand up for jesus mp3 download</div><div></div><div>Download: https://t.co/9IeZx5DTtv </div><div></div><div></div><div>When we are struggling to stand firm in the faith and overcome temptations, we can put on the armor of God as we fight our spiritual battles. The armor of God is made up of the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the sword of the spirit, the shield of faith and feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. The same passage also encourages prayer (Ephesians 6:10-18, NIV).</div><div></div><div></div><div>What does it mean to put on the full armor of God so we can stand firm? Putting on the armor of God is a way of preparing for the battles and trials we are going to face. As we are tempted by sin or other people to veer from the path God has called us to, we can draw strength from biblical wisdom and the strength God has given us.</div><div></div><div></div><div>25 But Jesus (E)knew their thoughts, and said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, (F)surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.</div><div></div><div></div><div>We sang this song in our evening devotion today and it made an entirely different but fresh meaning to the whole Family.</div><div></div><div> We heard the Holy Spirit encouraging us both young and adults to take our stand for Christ, in our daily living and conduct.</div><div></div><div> The Holy Spirit was saying to us that we must leran to stand in his strength alone and be sure we are already in the battle to always establish and defend his lordship over our lives each and every one.</div><div></div><div> We must stand against the tyranny of sin in the days of battle and we must stand in his strength alone.</div><div></div><div> My kins men are under the threat of Fulani heards men presently and we pray that the Lord will help us to stand in the days of terror that looks ahead of us.</div><div></div><div></div><div>With shows like his popular The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?, Robert Dubac draws on decades of showbiz experience as a writer, actor, and stand-up comic to explore social mores, political ideas, and the complexity of the human experience. He belongs to a rare breed of humorists who make comedy smart and tragedy funny.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Using humor that is both intelligent and absurd, Dubac dissects culture with a jaundiced and probing eye. His characters boggle our minds with rapid-fire satire while simultaneously crafting a simple story that binds us together. His unmatched ability to combine the boisterous laughter of stand-up with the staggering thrill of live theatre fills seats everywhere, as nothing like this can be seen on TV.</div><div></div><div></div><div>George Duffield, Jr. (b. Carlisle, PA, 1818; d. Bloomfield, NJ, 1888), was inspired to write this text after hearing the dying words of a Presbyterian colleague, Dudley A. Tyng. Ousted from his own congregation for his strong anti-slavery stance, Tyng preached to large crowds in weekday meetings sponsored by the YMCA. His work spearheaded an evangelical revival in Philadelphia early in 1858. At Tyng's deathbed, caused by a farm accident in which he lost an arm, Duffield and others asked if he had any final message. Tyng replied, 'Tell them to stand up for Jesus!" At Tyng's memorial service on April 25, 1858, Duffield preached on Ephesians 6:14 and concluded his sermon by reading his new hymn text, "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus." Several lines in that original text referred to Tyng's words and ministry. The six-stanza text was first distributed in leaflet form and then was published in The Church Psalmist (1859). The Psalter Hymnal follows the custom of most hymnals of including the original stanzas 1, 3, 4, and 6 with updated language.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I had a wonderful 5thgrade teacher named Mr. Boggs. Like most good teachers, Mr. Boggs could be a tad eccentric, and one of the things that he insisted on in his classroom, was that whenever an adult entered the room, the entire class was to stand at attention. Now I understand that this may have been common in an earlier age, but when I was in grade school, it was not. He is the only teacher I ever had that insisted upon this. We were the only class that did it.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Mr. Boggs was a great teacher and we loved and respected him. So we went along with his little rule. When an adult entered the room, we stood up. We became known as the class that stands when someone enters. It was a part of our identity. We were the class that showed respect. We were the class that took notice when you walked into the room. It was a bit odd at first. We were all so used to just focusing on whatever our assignment was, whatever it was that we were doing, that it was a real change for us to be constantly aware of what was going on around us: who was coming and going, who was in the room. Before, we could just tune all that out, but now we all had the classroom door in our side view, just in case someone were to walk in. After all, no one wanted to be the last one to stand up. That would be embarrassing. And if you saw someone coming, you made sure that your friends knew it. You got their attention.</div><div></div><div></div><div>shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.1</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Church of Jesus Christ is grounded on the rock of revelation, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. We are the Church. You and I are the Church. We must be grounded on the rock of revelation, and although we may not know the answer to every question, we must know the answers to the primary questions. And if we do, the gates of hell shall not prevail against us and we will stand forever.</div><div></div><div></div><div>In the Great Work of God of 1858, in Philadelphia [Pennsylvania], the Rev. Dudley Tyng was the recognized leader. While standing by a piece of farm machinery on his place, the sleeve of his coat became entangled in the gearing. His arm was drawn into the machinery and torn off, and he died soon after. In the prime of his life he was taken away from the direction of that great revival movement.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Have you received an outstanding miracle, healing or deliverance from God through this ministry? We would like to feature your testimony in an upcoming issue of The Power of the Holy Ghost magazine, as space permits.</div><div></div><div></div><div>If you want Jesus to stand by you in your dark, agonizing hours when all hell is coming against you, you will have to pray more earnestly for the will of God to be done in your life. The Bible says, Pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17). You must never become spiritually sleepy. You must stand by Jesus; and you do that by yielding to the Holy Ghost, not the flesh.</div><div></div><div></div><div>In spite of all of that, Jesus stood by God for them; and we must stand by Jesus. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus went to the whipping post, and cruel men almost beat Him to death; but He paid the price for all of our miracles and healings and for all the help we need.</div><div></div><div></div><div>He paused, took a deep breath, got in touch with his feelings and experienced a twinge of compassion for the girl whose apple stand had been overturned. He told his buddies to go on without him, waved good-bye, told one of them to call his wife when they arrived at their home destination and explain his taking a later flight. Then he returned to the terminal where the apples were all over the terminal floor.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The Gregorian calendar is the global standard for the measurement of dates. Despite originating in the Western Christian tradition, its use has spread throughout the world and now transcends religious, cultural and linguistic boundaries.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have not come across another passage of Scripture where Jesus stands to his feet in honor of one of his followers. As it stands to reason, based upon this passage, the way to bring Jesus to his feet for his children is to give your life for him and his glory.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Thus, the question I pose this morning for myself and every believer who names the name of Christ: Have we given our life to Christ? Have we surrendered? Have we offered our body as a living sacrifice? Are we willing to give our life for this Christ we confess? If not, we should not expect a standing ovation or applause from Jesus. A life that is sold-out, committed, surrendered, and given for him and his renown is what moves Jesus to stand and applaud one of his followers.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Not desiring Jesus to give approval of what you do, is like comparing Jesus to some nobody whom you could care less if he acknowledged what you do. Jesus demands and deserves the preeminent place in our life. Not that Stephen preached and endured what he did in order to seek the applause of heaven, but he did what he did because he was fixated on Jesus. What he did and endured led Jesus to stand in honor of one of his fallen followers! Today, may Jesus be pleased by the words, mediation, and action of our lives. May he be pleased and give approval to how we live for him today.</div><div></div><div> dafc88bca6</div>
