Howdy,

I would like to know of a fiberglass spreader source. They are to be
used for a 20 Meter Quad and need to be about 13 to 14 feet long.

Thanks,

Max,
Check out "Lightning Bolt Antennas" at http://www.tdws.com/lbg The
owners name is Mike. The spreaders don't show up on his web site
but he has them plus any other parts you mite need including some very
unique devices of his own design.
Very high quality parts & a great guy to deal with.

Good luck, 73's Al N3UGV

Hi
I don't know about about the strenght for 20m,,,but for six ,and ten
I've used the tension rods that are now used on coated chain-link fence.
They are fiberglass, and come in three colour that I know of white, green
and brown,,,to match the colur of the fence.
These are the bars at the end of the fence where it is "pinned" to the pole

I just bought 8 spreader arms from them at 17.50 each. 1/8 thick
wall fiberglass -- each arm is made of an 8 foot 1 1/4 inch and an 8foot
1 inch piece. This allows a foot to be trimmed and glued inside the
mount point at the spider for extra strength.

Plus 8 foot pieces can be shipped UPS - saves on trucking costs of full
length arms

They have good quality.
