I am still looking for the answers of these Rebus Puzzles. They are keeping
me awake at night:))

1). HOM - (Home with a long fat E at the end)
|
|
-
|
|
-

The answer should be 5 words.

2). HE
(CAPITALISM)

The answer should be 6 words.

3). HIS
KALAMAZOOO

The answer should be 6 words.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I had the same problem. Then I took a Unisom.

I'm thinking that the long E on home might be for the word "longing",
but thats as far as I can get right now. Are there any more details on
these that you could give us, such as differences in the word sizes,
type, or color?

Best Regards
Will

I have some wild guesses: homily, hominy, homey, homing.
My best guess is home stretch though. Maybe something about the home
stretch at the end?

I have found some references to a 'long home' being a grave. So
something like 'a long home at last' seems to fit. Or maybe 'get home
at long last'.

I thought that I recognised a couple of these puzzles, I dug out an old
book of games and found the answers to two of them.

First I'll post a few more similar puzzles:

1. ALL world

2. EILN PU

3. am U ous

4. wWoOlOfL

According to my book the answer to one of puzzles previously posted is
"A long letter from home" and the second answer that I have is "He is
an exponent of capitalism". In the book, the word he is up and to the
right of capitalism like an exponent normally would be.

1. It is a small World, after all. (OK that's not it, but it sorta works)
2,3. We just had these
4. A wolf in sheep's clothing

Thanks Will

Are you sure that this one:

HIS
KALAMAZOOO

is not in that book. It seems to me that all these puzzles that
I got (24 of them) are a page from that book. I have posted most
of them in a previous post and did not get answers for the three
that I reposted. Now I am still looking for the one with the word
"HIS" up and to the right of the word "KALAMAZOOO" (This is number
21 of the 24, if you have the same set of 24 in the book).

Thanks again for the answers for the other two.

No, the one with Kalamazoo is not in my book. Is the source for your
puzzles ever going to give you the answers for your list? If so, please
post the answer to this one.

I remembered these puzzles from way back so I looked them up in a
dejanews search or rec.puzzles. In 1999, Mwessel2 (mwes...@aol.com)
posted these and Jan Merolant (jan.me...@smallhand.com) responded
with:

>> HIS
>>KALAMAZOOO

his overdue letter comes from Kalamazoo
his last letter comes from Kalamazoo
