A local club issued a 100 question puzzle,
most of which are easy, but a few have proved
illusive, help if you can.
Each is a television programme from the past
or the present seen on British Television.
You are given the initial letters and the
amount of letters in each word.

1. S.W.(4.4)
2. A.B. (7.8)
3. B.B. (8.5)
4.T.H. (8.4)
5. M. (10)
6. S on S(5.6)
7. B (9)
(this last one No 7, there are three
identical questions so we need three
different answers, already have thought
of Brookside, Bewitched and possibly
Backstage ?)
many thanks
Graham.

Graham, I hope that you're doing this for a good cause ( or even better
- a great prize) ; if not then you should throw your toys out of the
cot.
Does a local 30 minute documentary on Harlech TV at 3.30 p.m on the
17th. August 1963 constitute a programme on " British TV". Also is a
one-off movie e.g. Star Wars considered a "programme"?
With so many channels and years and lack of definitions it's hard to
help you. What region are you from. what is your local ITV channel? Help
us to help you plse
Best Regards
Phil Sutton

I get your drift PS.
Going by the 90 odd answers that we
have already, it's safe to say Films are
not included or one off documentaries etc
It consists of regular programmes that
appeared on British television over the years
It also appears to be restricted to terrestrial
television only.
I think Mastermind looks good for no 5.
Sport on Sunday.....not sure
Star Wars...def no
Will post the full list of questions
in a day or two that may help
1.S.W.(4.4)
