The object of these puzzles is to use all of the given letters, and only the
given letters, to fill in a 4 by 4 word square (each letter may be used more
than once). The word square's rows must form four common words, and the
square's columns must form the same four words. In addition, the letters
along the main diagonal should form a word that matches the clue. There may
be more than one solution.

An example: Use ADEHORTW to form an uninvited garden visitor.

One possible solution:

WHAT
HERO
AREA
TOAD

The answer matching the clue (written along the diagonal) is: WEED

Puzzles:

1. Use ADEHILR to form the site of Jack's accident.
2. Use AEFKRST to form something that is loose and liberal.
3. Use AEHLMOST to form a carbonaceous substance.
4. Use ADEHILSV to form the top half of an Istiophorus.
5. Use ABELORT to form a source of gravy.
6. Use ABEHLORSU to form the best type of ribbon.
7. Use AELMOPSY to get free financial assistance.
8. Use EFILNOPRT to get a supporter of President Bush, but not when he's in
bed.
9. Use DEILORTW to get something made of steel and used in woodworking.
10. Use BEILMORST to get a nonstandard unit of electricity.
