What, math people, can be more fun than discussing words on a numbers
site? What if the word IS "numbers"?
Here's an acronym:
NUMBERS = Nature's Utterly Manmade But Eternally Real Substructure.
My challenge for you people, make up your own math acronyms, with
"numbers", "number", or with some other math words.
Thanks,

That's not an acronym; it's an acrostic. An acronym is a *new* word
formed from the initials of a phrase (e.g. radar, laser); fitting a
phrase to an existing word is an acrostic, as puzzle fans (especially
word puzzle fans) should know alreaady.
Thesaurus.com lists acronym as a synonym for acrostic.

Thesaurus.com lists "figure" as a synonym for "integer".

So, what's a synonym for thesaurus?
Utterly OT, but very good:

Exactly; that was rather my point. It is ridiculous to quote a
thesaurus listing to support a claim of "acronym" meaning exactly the
same as "acrostic", especially in the context of word puzzles.
