There sure are. From the 1996 Information Please Almanac: James Caan, John
Cabot, John Calhoun, John Calvin, John Candy, Judy Canova, Jose Canseco,
Judy Carne, John Carradine, Jose Carreras, Jack Carson, Jacques Cartier,
John Cassavetes, Jack Cassidy, Joan Cauldfield, John Chancellor, Jeff
Chandler, John Cheever, Julia Child, Julie Christie, June Christy, and so
on and so forth. (Hmm, they left out Jose Capablanca and June Carter.)
What's the point? Why those particular initials? Do you have 675 more
"puzzles" like this one? Is "feople" just an ordinary typo, or is that
part of the puzzle, and we're supposed to figure out what it means?

X.Q. must be a real challenge - unless you're including the Chinese.

Even then, it's a challenge. I'm not aware of ANY famous Chinese
people who were known by their initials.

I stand corrected.
However I can't resist a challenge. I did find one Chinaman using Greek
letters for names . Mu Chi Fa Ch'ang was a 13th century Chinese painter.
This is really just the same as M.C.Fa Ch'ang.

In a letter published in _The Guardian_ March 28th 1997, Bruce Wilson
recalls that attendees at a 1970s Asian conference included a South
Korean diplomat named Mr. Lee Bum Suk and an Indian named Mr. Dikshit
Singh. He notes that European broadcasters reported these names as
Mr. L. B. Suk and Mr. D. S. Singh. He also notes that the South Korean
embassy had to point out that the correct name was Mr. B. S. Lee.
It's possible that there are a few abbreviated Chinese names to be
found.
Try the French. Xavier and Quentin are quite a common names in France.
