1. Rapid alteration of notes loses time. (My first thought was Preston
Road, but I can only match Presto with rapid. The rest doesn't seem to
fit).
2. Written record
3. Cricketer more at home in the jungle. Probably something Wood or
Forest, but I'm not very up on cricketers.
4. 3 statutes in Medieval England.
5. Confined river.
6. Deepdale loses north end for line of communication.
7. Asked in the Orient.
8. TV doctor went on horseback. Presumably something Road. Latimer
Road? Is there a Dr Latimer in one of the soaps?
9. Roundabout farewell. Could be Picadily Circus ("Goodbye Picadilly")
but that seems to be the only answer to another clue ("Eros with a big
top")
10.Eel trapper on a sandbank with small mound. Potter's Bar fits this
clue pretty well, but as far as I can ascertain there is no
underground station at Potter's Bar.
All suggestions gratefully received

I thought this could be (again, Rot13'ed) "Onax". I like your one better
though. :)

Yes, Toby Latimer played by Tony Britton in "Don't Wait Up" with Nigel
Havers as his son.

Remolo is east of Mornington Crescent, though it depends on whether the
Kaplinsky Variant is being played as to whether it would be a valid
station from which to get to Mornington Crescent.

Thanks for your coded suggestions. I don't think Snaresbrook is the
right answer to "confined river" since it's the answer to another
station in the full list (below).
I've since managed to solve "written record".

What about "BANK"?
Phil.
"Bank" is also the answer to another clue. I'm assuming no station
appears twice in the answers.

Who else calls their transit system the Underground?

aka The Clockwork Orange.
Colin
Glasgow has 15% of 100 stations.
I don't think anyone's claiming that you could find all 100 answers on
the Glasgow system. But a crafty quiz setter would be quite entitled to
take advantage of the general assumption that "Underground" = London
Underground, and put in a couple of Glasgow stations to catch out those
who rely on the assumption. Finding a symbol of England, "St George's
Cross" as a Glasgow underground station is rather wonderful. I assume
it doesn't have station signs looking like the English flag....
