For the skeptical among you, I made a very short realvideo

Before you buy.
From time to time it seems this question pops up. And from what I've seen
(I may be wrong, please correct me if I am) it seems that small koi do this
more than anyone else.
You didn't tell us how long ago the pond (or waterfall for that matter)
became the new home of this stream happy fish.
ALL of my fish did this when they were added to the pond. I'd go out every
hour or so and heard them back into the pond. No losses, I was lucky.
On an interesting side note. My two baby fish (I dare not call them fry...
they're growing by leaps and bounds and now school with the rest of them)
did not exhibit this behavior. And they seem to get the least upset when I
redocorate.
My big comet will uproot everything new in the pond, and heaven forbid if I
put plants in the stream... seems I spent all day today hearding him back to
the pond. The small guys? Didn't even seem to notice the new hiding spots
and munchies I put in.
So, to make this short:
Is this a new behavior for an established fish? (If so, could have
problems!) Or is this a new fish? In which case he should stop in a few
days.

This is one of my original feeders from last september - so he can
scarcely be called new. Since there is only one (I think) out of 15
doing this, I'm hoping that he is just doing it for the fun of it!
I suspect also that a fair number of bugs and insects get washed
down the waterfall from a (fishless, but frogged) top pond, so he
may be keen to get more food.

Actually there is no picture of the waterfall, but the website
(rather like the pond itself) is a work in progress!
To funny!
The clip was cool.
Our goldfish still regularly migrate from pond to pond along our stream
'till they find one they like after 3 years. They will occasionally go
downstream too. I've given up on trying to stop them. In our situation,
there is a mass migration every time it rains at night. I think it has
something to do with the additional stream flow when it rains.
Also, the larger ones seem to pick a pond and stay there. I think they are
territorial to some extent and when a pond becomes overcrowded to their
perception, the newer/younger ones will try to move on upstream to get away
from the "City Dwellers." That, or they can "feel" the cleaner water coming
from upstream and they want to get to the supply.
