that's the beauty of art, it's in the eye of the beholder and very personal as
to style, color, texture so you really need to decide what you like.

As for me, Monet has always been a favorite.

Renoir has always been one of my favorite impressionists. But for ponds?
Monet, of course.

I vote for Monet. Hopefully going to visit Giverny next summer to
see the real thing.

well cummon we all voted for Monet but poor Renoir painted a
lake
not realy a true comparison
I kinda leaned to Renior because of the sexy bathing suits
the girls were wearing -- but voted for Monet for his lily
pond

If you think those are bathing beauties, I have a photo of
my
great grandparents in their wool bathing suits - now that's
a
really good picture.

All of us love the work of Monet because HE had ponds. Thus all of
his paintings or Glass works , like the ones in the Art Instute in
Chicago have the feel of water and plants ect. He as many know
rebuilt his ponds to get them into the look that he wanted to paint.

Renoir painted people and other items of life but was in no
way as commited to Ponds as Monet.

So it is not suprizing that ponders chose Monet.
