NEW YORK (Reuters) - Technology outsourcing and consulting firm
Accenture Plc on Sunday said it was ending its six-year sponsorship
arrangement with golfer Tiger Woods, who is embroiled in a scandal
involving extra-marital affairs with numerous women.

"Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, after careful
consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no
longer the right representative for its advertising," Accenture said
in a statement.

Woods had appeared in Accenture's print, television and online ads.

Accenture's move comes a day after razor maker Gillette's statement
that is would limit the role of the No. 1 golfer in the world in its
marketing and Woods' own decision to step away from golf in order to
repair his life.

The announcement by Procter & Gamble's Gillette, which had featured
Woods in its razor ads, was an early sign the sex scandal already was
taking its toll on his marketability as a global sports idol.

Woods is estimated to earn $100 million a year from his various
endorsement deals.

Woods, 33, confessed to "infidelity" in his marriage to his Swedish
wife Elin Nordegren as allegations of multiple extra-marital affairs
rocked his life and career.

Other major commercial backers have said they are standing by him but
AT&T, while also expressing support for Woods and his family, said it
is evaluating its relations with him.

Commercials featuring Woods have disappeared from prime-time TV.

Woods has won 14 major titles and 71 PGA Tour events and is the first
athlete to earn $1 billion. He is believed to be the wealthiest sports
personality in the world.

Nevertheless, several of Woods' biggest celebrity endorsement
sponsors, which include Nike, PepsiCo's Gatorade and Electronic Arts,
recently said that they continue to support their commercial icon.

On his website on Friday, Woods admitted for the first time to
infidelity after earlier admitting "transgressions." He did not
mention specific affairs but asked for forgiveness and said he would
leave golf for an indefinite period "to focus my attention on being a
better husband, father, and person."

What pierced Woods' larger-than-life persona, propped up by lucrative
endorsement deals and polished by the media and adoring fans, was a
minor early morning car accident outside his Florida home on November
27.

either.

By comparison, i'm sure you're such an upstanding fellow citizen of
great talent, and moral rectitude, you should encounter no problem
whatsoever in landing just a single endorsement based on your moral
character, or image thereof.

the nigger lover misses the point as i would expect from a shitskin or
one
of their admirers. i'm not a professional athlete thrust into the
world spotlight,
therefore i'm not a role model for children. nigger woods was a role
model,
whether he liked it or not. it's the price he paid for fame and that
smashed up
cadillac. now he's a disgraced loser hiding from the world, his
camelot in ruins
and his marriage likely damaged beyond repair. like the nig athletes
before
him, he blew it. it *is* fun to watch though. i like how it gets worse
every day!

you know, i never understood that endorsement deal with cadillac.
since when do have to pay a nigger to drive a cadillac?

Well jeeze Krusty. Paris Hilton gained her notoriety/popularity on
sucking dick.. Surely being a sports figure has little to do with
anything. And she as well seems to have lost endorsements. Have i
missed your impartial criticism of her?

It is so, because we ALLOW it to be so. It is NOT the fault of the
notable figure we have allowed it. A person does not practice to be
the epitome of their particular skill with the expectation they're
gonna have to be your snotty nosed little rug-rat's roll model. That
is the parents responsibility.

But feel free to cop out, O' Wise-Usenet-Legend.

Regarded by parents too lazy to take care of their own children.
Too lazy to impart moral values of their own.
And just plain too lazy- and expecting society and popular media of
all sorts, to rear their children for them.

Funny. When my son asked me about Magic Johnson's AID's. His mother
and i just said- All kinds of people make mistakes. And famous people
aren't famous coz they're perfect, because no one is. And if it
depended on them being perfect, then there wouldn't be any famous
people.
And it was the same with Clinton.
....And i forget who else.
But guess what? He figured it out for himself, that it must've been
the same way for Paul (Saul).

And all that report,of SocialIssues does, is verify the current state
of our expectations, without regarding the validity of those
expectations.

It is so because we have allowed ourselves to be conditioned that it
should be thus. The proof of the pudding is that, so few of the
noteworthy athletic figures live up to that expectation. And history
is constantly revealing to us the foibles of our cherished leaders.

All's you had to do was google "paris hilton carls jr"-- Mr. Legendary-
Usenet-Legend-Most-Respectable_Sir.

I could find no definitive conclusion to the ads. But i did see that
carls jr enlisted Kim Kardashian, just last month for a series of
their commercials
------------------------------------------------------------
http://fastfood.freedomblogging.com/2009/11/19/kim-kardashian-is-carls-jrs-next-buxom-beauty/42675/

"Reality show celeb Kim Kardashian joins the lineup of buxom beauties
to flaunt their sex appeal for a Carl’s Jr. ad.

The chain confirmed Thursday that Kardashian will be featured in a
seductive salad ad that will premiere next month on TV.

Yes, that’s right — Carl’s Jr. is trying to make salads sultry.

Once again, the Southern California-based burger chain is using
Hollywood’s latest gossip girl to help lift sales.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Kardashian said: “I’m
always down for a burger, I love them and I eat them. But this is the
first commercial they’ve ever done for anything but a burger. The
salads are healthy, and it totally fits what I’m about right now.”

"Kardashian and Carl’s Jr. did not reveal details of the new ad, which
was filmed earlier this week in Los Angeles. But clearly Kardashian
feels the pressure to make her commercial just as sensuous as those
done by her female rivals. (Think Paris Hilton’s sudsy Bentley
commercial or Padma Lakshmi’s burger make-out session. )"

” I just wanted to make mine as hot and sultry as all of theirs,” she
told People"
============================================================

Kinna seems like maybe they might'a learn't from their success. Maybe
eh?
But then not everyone can be McRonald's i don't suppose.

"and if'n her name wasn't Hilton she would be sucking dicks at a $20
dollar-no holler fuck shop in Harlem."

Well there ya go. Just goes to show how far you can get if you're
really good.

"She's dumber than YOU are...."

I bow in deference. Surely she is dumber than you as well.
