We are open to other photographers (PRO PORTRAIT/WEDDING types)
who have interest in joining in. PLEASE be certain you want in... as
we have had many commercial and fashion types join... only to exit in
a day or two. (since we didn't talk about fashion or commercial
subjects). And it can be a hassle to add/remove people every couple
of days.
Joining the group will increase your email volume from 0-25 msgs per
day. (today I got 0 msgs - but in the past I've had as many as 24 in
one day).
If your are a PROFESSIONAL - and are interested in PORTRAIT and
WEDDING photography, including digital subjects... email me with your
info (say you'd like to join, and tell me about yourself, studio
operation, type of work etc.)
See you there.
P.S. be aware that some .jpg binaries are also sent throughout the
group... as we share images of work we're doing - backgrounds we're
talking about - poses we've created. We try to keep these small
(usually under 200k) and they are not sent daily - but occationally.
>See you there.
Your e-mail address doesn't work (duh) so I have to post here...
If you will accept a serious amateur who wants to learn portrait photography,
then please accept me into your group. E-mail me if you require further
information.
Thanks.

Sorry Ed, if we allow non pro's into the group, we might as well be
posting here in the rec. newsgroups. All the subject matter is in
reguards to shooting weddings, portraits in studio, etc. I think non
pro's would be bored.

In article <3162c558...@news.iserv.net>
(PRO portrait photographers chat group...), you write:

I am interested in this group. I'm beginning a studio in the Atlanta area,
have been a SERious amateur for 20+ years, changing careers from one love
(music) to another (photography). Mostly self-taught, some classes,
voracious reader, observer and experimenter.
My sig file has my internet web page with a sampling of my work. Check it
out. I'd like to participate in these discussions, learn & contribute.
Interested in wedding work.
Thanks.
