Here is a URL of a photo I love by Galen Rowell but it is about $200
over my budget.

Also, is there a better place for me to post this question?
Thanks for any suggestions.

It's very nice, I hope you're getting a very nice frame with it at that
price. Are you actually purchasing a photo and not just a framed poster?
I hate to be so obvious but I Googled around and found some very nice
landscape poster prints for quite reasonable prices - I tend to choose my
own frames to complement the print and the room anyway. Try 'posters' in
your search engine.
Apologies for not giving much of an answer; not sure what exactly you're
looking for.
Good luck,
PK
Try my website. Depends what you want to use it for and what resolution
you want we can negotiate something for you.

No offense Andre, but check your horizons on some of your ocean shots.
You have some 'nice' images with some nice colours, but you need to
work a bit on your composition and cropping.

Yes, that is a gorgeous one, like most of Galen's...
If you like anything of mine at:
http://www.bard-hill.co.uk/usa-2003/
get in touch via the website and and we can discuss sizes, prices, and/or I
can send thumbnails of some other pictures if you describe exactly what you
are looking for. I usually do limited edition Giclees on art paper up to
A3, and conventional prints in various sizes.
Given which of Galen's pictures you sent the link to, I've given you the
link to some of my more dramatic/mountain/US pictures (only a small
selection) but many of my images are much subtler/quieter.
I don't believe in 'advertising' via the newsgroups, so hope no one will
object to me using it to answer a specific enquiry.
