given that the 'no battery' state would mean there's
no power to make the light come on or to make
the beep work, it's safe to assume that it means
that the batteries are OK (also, i have one of these
and i'm sure that's the meaning.)
interestingly, have you heard the true story about
the electronics designer who was asked by marketing
to put a 'battery dead' light on the product they
were designing? seems like a great idea until you
think about it a bit!!
