I will be shooting my first headshot/fashion images for a model friend
and we want to go with black and white. I have shot Portra 160 nc/vc
color and have always loved the results. This will be my first venture
into black and white and we both would like something crisp and
contrasty ( I know alot of that depends on processing but the film could
help I'm sure). She loves that chiaroscuro <sp?> type lighting ( these
will all be indoor-strobe ) with hard edges from light to shadow and I'd
like to use a film that can help that along. However.... I would also
like to shoot a few rolls of something softer and broader as well just
for the sake of options. Any help from the film gurus here would be much
appreciated!
