I am a new user, could anyone please suggest the light meter for me?
I am supposed to buy the sekonic 558, does it good for a new user?

Thank you

I would suggest the Gossen Digisix. It is very small, costs about
$110US and does both reflected and incident measurements.
You probably won't need to use the sekonic spot metering feature
until you are much more advanced, and maybe even not then.

The old Gossen Luna Pro was the standard for a long while and Gossens
are well thought of. But a spot meter is really a more specialized
animal and is used pretty heavily by Ansel Adams/Fred Picknose
purists. I'd start with a less expensive one and keep it as a backup
when you get more advanced.
