Trying to decide b/w Canon Rebel and Nikon D70. New at the DSLR and
trying to determine pros and cons. Looking for a camera that will
shoot quickly when picked up at moments notice, able to shoot many
frames quickly, interested in birds, birds in flight, butterflies,
family, etc. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have been following the D70 progress. I asked my daughter what she had
heard about the D70 and she told me that there were some problems with
focusing.

You might want to do a google with the following key words:

nikon d70 focus problems

BYW, I and a semi-pro with a D100.

Good luck

Both have their own faults for The D70 it's focusing and For The
Cannon 3000d(B.N.A Digital Rebel) it's the thin plastic body that
could very easely Break or crack when dropped Then Intire Body and the
Lens both are made of plastics
