I am looking for some recommended Iris printers. I would
prefer East Coast, Philadelphia area but will consider all.
Having just recently learned of this process I want to
explore its potential. If you know of any good ones or have
had some experience please respond.
Thanks in advance to all.

Try http://www.portlandcolor.com/html/print.html in Portland, ME. By the
way, how is the Abbey Camera in Philly doing? Something happened to the
Abbey in Baltimore involving a change in management and a serious decline in
available inventory volume and quality, including loss of their used gear
section. I'm wondering if this is franchise-specific or company-wide.

There are newer printers being used that I think may be better than Iris for
fine art prints. Iris are 4-color printers balanced to commercial printing
needs.

My digital printer is usind a ColorTran (I think) 8-colors (2 each of CMYK)

Thanks for the reply,
When you say 'my digital printer' do you mean a service or a
piece of equipment? If it is a service please tell me their
URL. As I have been reading there is more to the IRIS
printing than the color but, I am willing to investigate all
possibilities.
