I've always liked using the 135 macro as a portrait lens. It will focus darn
close.

With a 35mm format camera, one typically uses at least an 85mm lens
for portraiture, and even more commonly a 100mm lens. The slightly
longer than normal lenses are more flattering in the perspective they
present of the subject. Accordingly, I use my 135mm macro on my
Pentax 67 for group shots and my 200mm for portraits. From your
selection, I would choose the 165 without hesitation when
photographing a single person.
