WE'RE supposed to repair the relationship with a religion that openly avows
the outright slaughter of Christians and Jews no mater where, when or how?
(And don't even start - I'm neither Christian or Jew; I'm a serious
agnostic).
The MUSLIM world needs to take the initiative to repair relationships with
the rest of the world. For starters, THEY need to trash their "kill Jews
and Christians for Allah" bullshit, and openly display a position of
tolerance, peace, non-violence and perhaps even intelligence (like treating
their women better than their dogs for example?).
Otherwise, don't be surprised when GW or his successor has to resort to
small tactical nukes or a MOAB to counter their sick mentality.

Well truth be told my friend, all people have a role in humanities common
struggle to survive, the sooner people figure that out the better everyone will
have it, but don't count it too soon. Its too easy to label one race, creed or people as at fault
just because we see the world turning upside down.
I don't condone the actions of a few that attempt to damage the good of any/not even a one.
But the way I see Islam or any religion or a teaching it that it has no greater role "in producing evil"
than any of those who misunderstand or knowingly misrepresent what is contained in that
teaching to achieve a goal, beyond the teachings.
Or in greed walk/look the other way when millions die every year of
starvation so some group or individual can amass billions of dollars or so some government
can sell its citizens a false sense of reality and security,
when in fact that very government runs itself and its citizens bankrupt in the process.
"Misogi" is a Japanese purification ritual, a casting out of demons if you will.
so from now on I won't respond to this "demon of a cross post" ;-)

And regarding the (off-topic) "content" of your posts, I'm a Jew, and I think
the Jews in this case (read: Israelis) are responsible for far more of the
current misery in the Middle East than the Muslims.
