2. X-370s is black polycarbonate; X-370 chrome finish.
3. not known by any other name to my knowledge; I am not familiar with
the X-570.
4. no interchangable focusing screen on X-370 or X-370s; X-700 has
interchangable screens.

(1) What are the differences between the X-370 and the X-700?
(2) How about between the X-370 and the X-370s?
(3) What other names is the X-370 known as? Is X-570 the same thing?
(4) Does the X-370 have interchangeable focusing screens? I've heard
conflicting stories.
Thanks!

X370 and X370s - don't know. Probable same functions but slightly
differnet in some ways.
No, X570 and 370 are not the same. X570 is more towards X700 but less
the P mode. X570 has slow flash sync and full info in the viewfinder
(eg, set shutter speed) which the X700 do not have.
X370 does have interchangeable focussing screen.
All the X700, X570, X370, takes motor drive 1 or winder G.

Here are all the differences I can think of. X-700 has program
autoexposure, DOF preview, TTL flash. X-370 has aperture priority or
manual. X-370 has full information metered manual, X-700 does not. I'm
sure there are many others.

Don't know. Basically the same camera, but probably some slight
differences.

The X-370 was known as the and X-300, X-370n, and X-370s. The first X-370's
had silver bodies while the later models had black bodies. The X-370s is
still in production; there might be slight differences from earlier models.
X-570 is not the same camera. X-570 has DOF preview, TTL flash.
