I have the Sensorex EE model with the same meter problem. (Miranda
syndrome?)
Repairable or not?
I must wait to the end of may (I hope for positive answer). Then I can
send you a news.
I like my Miranda too. I find it as great manual body with spot or
evaluated metering system.
It's my backup camera with only 50/1,8 lens - I can't find something
more.

All MIRANDA E, EC and SOLIGOR EC lenses will work on the EE with full
automation. All previous MIRANDA or SOLIGOR lenses with internal
diaphragm control, can be used with stop-down metering. For more infos

I have a lot of older cameras and many without built-in meters. I can use
the separate meter with each of them. Once you get one (a meter), and learn
its capabilities and unique qualities, you can quickly transfer the readings
to your camera controls. I prefer the Gossen Luna Pro F, but it is
ig( well bigger than most of my shirt pockets). For that reason, I most
often carry the small, light Sekonic Digilite F, model L-328. It is about
the size of a pack of cigarettes and just a little heavier. It seems to be
as accurate as my Minolta meters including the Flashmeter IV and handles
both incident, reflective, and flash readings. Very handy. Separate meters
let you buy used cameras very cheaply because the METERS DON'T WORK. The
cameras may be perfect in every other way but because the meter does not
work, the seller is willing to let them go at a much reduced price.
Sorry for rambling on, but the separate meter has let me use a lot of the
older finer machines (Rolleis, Leicas) that might otherwise have been given
up for dead or which did not have meters in the first place. Just my two
cents.
