Can someone point out the differences between the T4 and the T5? I know
about the "weatherproof design" and the second viewfinder of the T5.
Anything else to consider?
I own an old T-AF that I'm going to replace. Does the T4 have the same
light falloff at the edges of my camera? I've heard contraddictory
reports (I can live with it in any case, just to know).
Is there any specific problem with the T4-T5? were the shutter relase
problems of the T-AF resolved in later models?
When was the T4 discontinued? I found one new for 130 Euros. It seems
to be a decent price, is it?
Comparing the Yashica with the Olympus which one privileges the depth
of field vs the shutter speed? Please, don't start a flame about
sharpness or distortion, I'm sure that both are good enough for me. I'd
just like to know which is going to give me the biggest DOF in
landscapes.
Is the meter of the Stylus Epic good enough for slides?
Also, is there a way with any of the 3 to lock exposure *and* focus for
more than one shot? I'd like to do some QTVR work and it would be nice
to use exactly the same exposition for 16 contiguos shots.
Thanks in advance.

Fact of life #15: Heads bleed, walls don't.
I own a T5 and I previously owned a T4, which I lost somewhere in a
taxi...
The camera is basically the same with the exceptions that you already
mentioned: "weatherproof design" and the second viewfinder.
It is an exceptional camera regarding the price. I use it mostly for
street photography, and B&W.

You can notice that, but it is nothing you could not live with.

I cannot answer your question regarding olympus, but on the T5 side the
exposure control is fully automatic thus you lock it ayway.

Just to be helpful: In the United States, the T5 was (is) sold as the T4
Super. I've read that the light fall off, as well as shutter delay
continues in the T5, but I have NOT used one myself. I've got the Olympus
Stylus Epic (Mju), but I haven't shot slides with it (I wouldn't like to
shoot slides without exposure compensation). Some say the Epic's meter is
not good enough for slides, but several shooters have put their slides up
on the web that were shot with the Epic. Bob Atkins, I believe, had his
Epic overexposing slides, sent it back for readjustment, and shot slides to
his satisfaction after it was returned.
Word here from reliable sources is that the T5/T4 Super is being
discontinued.
Hope this helps,

Well, the problem with the shutter in T-AF is not the lag, but the
button... sometimes it doesn't work! Mine is getting worse every day ad
it's one of the two main reasons for which I'm going to replace the
camera.

I know that, and it's the second main reason for buying one... before
it's too late. ;)
Thanks (also to Antonio) for sharing your experience.
