Braun Novamat or Leica slide projector?

Discovered that old Kodak 750 carousel slide projector is kaput. Porter's
catalog came today and I noticed two projectors I'd never heard of. They
both look good, with reasonable prices: Braun Novamat M330 (with 8.5" square
display or regular projection to screen) and Leica P150. Advantage of the
Braun is the 8.5" preview - nice for quick show to friend - also quick slide
evaluation. Advantage of Leica: lens quality (I think.)

Anyone have experience with either one? I don't expect heavy use - but do
need to be able to project slides to really check them over.

Sigh. Since posting this I searched google groups for prior info, and it
seems that both projectors get very low ratings. A few people are happy with
theirs.

I have the Novamat. I like it. I use it mostly for reviewing at my
desk, not projecting onto a screen. It is very convenient for 1 to 2
people. It seems pretty solid. I got some good feedback before I
bought it.

I have the Leica and I really like it. But I bought it with the Colorplan
lens that cost almost as much as the projector, and that might make a big
difference.

Best regards,
Bob
