I have just purchased a this Minolta camera with a 50mm lens for $60.00. I am a near begginer in Photography. The camera works fine in all modes. I need a l booklet.
I have a problem with cleaning: the foam padding/gaskits are crumbling
at the touch of a brush, the view finder is dirty on the inside (how can I
access it without taking the camera apart). Maybe if remove the focusing screen
I may access the view finder.
That is all that is wrong with the camera in my amateur opinion.
If anyone has parts/accessories pleaselet me know

Mike,
I would get the camera body professionally serviced. The SRT is a good
camera, and there are plenty being used all the time. Crumbling
gaskets can cause a miriad of problems (light leaks, pieces getting
into the shutter and other moving parts, etc).
With a bit of practice, you probably won't need a manual. It's so
basic that any good "how-to" book will have you on your way.

Replacing gaskets is not easy, and may best be left to a professional
repair facility. You can buy the material itself from Fargo, I think, but
removing and replacing it all can be tricky (cleaning, the right
adhesive..)
As far as the dirty viewfinder, unless it is really bad, don't worry about
it. Dirt in the viewfinder, mirror, pentaprism... will not affect picture
quality.
Getting afordable batteries for this camera will be another problem. It
takes the 625 mercury cells, which arte very hard to find these days.
There are replacement cells available, but as has been discussed here at
length, they are more expensive and don't last as long.
Good luck with your camera.
