What Color printer do I need? please help...

I need a printer to print cd labels and cd covers, so I'll be needing
one which dosen't waste colour ink to much, I don't really care about
the speed of the printing.
which one would be best suited for my color needs?
I've been thinking about buying the Epson Stylus Color C60...

I am not sure about the C60, but Epson is well known for ink cost. They
have great inks, but they also tend to make new cartridges for each new
printer and tend to keep a monopoly on the ink as a result. Refilling carts
can be iffy. Sometimes it works well and some times not.

I might also suggest the Epson seems to be paper sensitive, which means
you may need to do some test to find a source of paper (blank CD Labels)
that work well with the Epson.

You might also want to tell us if you need photo quality or if you are
just doing spot colour, which makes the ink problems might less important.

BTW it appears you are European and you should note that since many
models are sold under different model numbers on each side of the pond.

You may want to try one of the Epson brand Photo Papers and make sure
you pick the correct paper type in the driver settings. The paper type
setting can have a big impact on print quality.

I know that the Epson Photo series printers can be fussy about the
paper types/brands but don't know about the newest non photo series
printers like your C80

I looked at both C60 & C80 ...... & got the C80 ...... well worth the extra
$ ...... printer reviews generally pick C80 over C60 .......

It's fast & holds up to heavy use ...... makes beautiful prints on Epson
photo quality paper (use either Glossy[best] or matt finish if you don't
want gloss .... either support high density print).......
