MAVICA WITH 16 MB FLOPPY?

I used to own a Olympus D-600L. great camera.

I also boughta floppy adaptor called a FlashPath from
Fuji that allows anybody to read the falsh memory cards
(2,4,8,16MB) in a standard floppy drive.

Has anybody tried this adapter on a Sony MAVICA ?

Can we replace the standard floppy 1.4 MB with a
Flash Path adapter and a 16 MB memory card ?

That would give us in theory more than 10 times
the capacity of a floppy.

Flash Path requires software to be installed in a computer so it can be
seen.Can't do that with a camera

sorry .. nice thought .. but .. the CAMERA would have to have
a win9x operating system .. and you would have to be
able to load the flashpath drivers onto it ..

Simple answer, it does not work and will not unless Sony develops the
drivers. The Flashpath requires the read head stay still and that
requires a driver. As this isn't Sony technology, it is very unlikely it
will be developed. Sony is now counting on their memory stick
technology.
