Hi, I have Vosonic XS Drive II (2060) 40G and have used it for a couple
of years without problem, I just took a long trip and saved many GB of
pictures on it all without problem, now I am in a different country and
plug it in a computer running XP professional, I see 4 drives show up
on my computer, but to my horror, all of them are empty, I know one of
them is the drive's content, and I am positive it shouldn't be empty
(before I took the trip, there are images on the drive shown in my home
computer)... I don't know what's going on, nor do I know how to get the
pictures (thousands) from the XS Drive...

any help really appreciated!

Are there any mapped drives on the PC occupying the drive letter that
the Vosonic wants to use? If so just unmap them and see what happens.
The drives you can see are probably the card reader slots.

Check the properties on the Xs HD to see it is truly empty. It may be the
files are still there. The amount of used space will give you some idea as
to what to do next. If it is pretty much empty and little used space, you
may have gotten the files accidentally deleted so a good recovery program
will be the logical next step.

If the disks appear to have a significant amount of used space, then it is
possible the system you are now using may have these file formats hidden,
much like system files are hidden. Go into Explorer Tools, folder options,
hidden files and folders, and check to make hidden files and folders
viewable.
